Maintenance Worker- Events (Parks)

Summary                                 Assists with all department and City approved special events and maintains parks. Regular schedule - Mon-Fri 7am-4pm. Schedule may vary to include weekends and holidays based on events, inclement weather or as operational demands require.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assists with special events to include setup, staging, breakdown, and cleanup Provides general park maintenance  for play structures, pavilions, fencing, restrooms, sidewalks, parking lots, playground equipment, etc. Assists in maintaining grounds at City owned facilities and properties as assigned  Removes trash/debris from assigned areas to include parks, roadsides, sports facilities, and other public areas Completes and submits required paperwork Follows City policies, procedures, and safety guidelines Performs other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications landscaping, or operating related equipment Certificates, Licenses, Registrations  Valid driver’s license
