Vice Principal

This position is based in Basra, Iraq, a vibrant city known for its rich history, diverse culture, and growing economy.

This is a full-time, up to 3-year contract with the possibility of extension. The selected candidate will receive a competitive salary and benefits package.

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Vice Principal to join a School in Basra, Iraq. The Vice Principal will assist the Principal in managing the day-to-day operations of the school and ensure the delivery of high-quality education services to our students.

- Collaborate with the Principal to develop and implement school policies, procedures, and programs that align with the company's mission and vision.

- Assist in the recruitment, training, and evaluation of teaching and non-teaching staff.

- Provide leadership and support to teachers in implementing effective teaching strategies and promoting a positive learning environment.

- Monitor and evaluate student academic progress and provide guidance and support to students who are struggling.

- Collaborate with the Principal to develop and manage the school's budget and resources.

- Communicate with parents, students, and staff to ensure effective communication and a positive school culture.

- Assist in organizing and overseeing school events and activities.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies.

- Master's degree in Education or a related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role in an educational setting and 5 years teaching experience AP curriculum.

- Strong knowledge of education policies and procedures.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.

- Fluency in English is required, Arabic language skills are a plus.

- Experience working in the Middle East is preferred.
