In this role you will support model based systems engineering, requirements development, and architecture definition for a complex aerospace system. This role focuses on using Cameo to capture and manage system requirements, functional and physical architectures, and interfaces across the program lifecycle.
You will work under general direction to develop and maintain system models in Cameo, applying a complete understanding and wide application of systems engineering and MBSE principles. You'll also support project leadership in shaping the system architecture, ensuring requirements and interfaces are well defined, traceable, and aligned with program objectives.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Support requirements development, decomposition, allocation, and traceability within Cameo, translating customer and stakeholder needs into system, segment, and subsystem requirements.
- →Develop and maintain system architectures (operational, functional, and physical) using SysML and MBSE methods (e.g., use case, activity, sequence, block definition, and internal block diagrams).
- →Integrate requirements, behaviors, interfaces, and constraints into a coherent model that supports mission analysis, system design, and verification/validation planning.
- →Apply established modeling conventions and guidelines; recommend improvements to enhance consistency and usability of the system model.
- →Coordinate updates to requirements and architecture with multi disciplinary teams (mission systems, avionics, ground systems, communications, vehicle teams, etc.).
- →Generate model based views and reports to support technical reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, etc.), communicating requirements coverage and architecture status.
- →Collaborate with requirements management and configuration management to help baseline the Cameo model and maintain alignment with tools such as DOORS/DOORS Next.
