We are currently seeking a Delivery Manager to join our team in Pune, Mahārāshtra (IN-MH), India (IN). ## Job Description – Delivery Manager (Banking Account – Cross Functional IT Projects) Role: Delivery Manager Location: Pune Experience: * 12+ years overall IT experience * 5–7 years of relevant Delivery Management experience in Banking/Financial Services domain ### Role Overview We are looking for a dynamic and client-focused Delivery Manager to lead multiple cross-functional IT projects for a Banking account. The ideal candidate should possess strong delivery governance capabilities along with excellent stakeholder management skills, business acumen, and the ability to identify growth opportunities within the account. In addition to managing end-to-end delivery, the candidate is expected to proactively engage with client stakeholders, walk the floor, understand client pain points, strengthen relationships, and identify opportunities for digital transformation, automation, and AI-led solutions. ### Key Responsibilities #### Delivery & Program Management * Own end-to-end delivery of multiple cross-functional IT projects/programs within the Banking domain. * Manage project scope, timelines, budget, quality, risks, dependencies, and resource planning. * Drive Agile/Waterfall delivery execution and ensure adherence to governance processes. * Monitor project health through KPIs, dashboards, RAID management, and status reporting. * Ensure successful coordination across development, testing, infrastructure, security, business, and vendor teams. * Lead escalation management and ensure timely resolution of delivery issues. #### Client & Stakeholder Management * Act as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for client stakeholders. * Build strong client relationships through regular engagement and proactive communication. * Walk the client floor/business units to understand operational challenges, upcoming priorities, and business expectations. * Conduct governance meetings, steering committee reviews, and executive updates. * Ensure high customer satisfaction and continuous service improvement. #### Business Growth & Opportunity Identification * Identify opportunities for new projects, process improvements, automation, and transformation initiatives. * Collaborate with account leadership, sales, and solution teams for account mining and revenue growth. * Support proposal creation, estimations, solution discussions, and RFP responses. * Drive innovation conversations with clients around AI, automation, analytics, and digital transformation. #### AI & Innovation Focus * Demonstrate awareness and practical understanding of AI/GenAI trends and enterprise use cases. * Identify opportunities to leverage AI for operational efficiency, productivity improvement, and enhanced customer experience. * Work with technical teams to conceptualize AI-driven solutions relevant to Banking operations and IT delivery. #### Team Leadership * Lead and mentor cross-functional delivery teams. * Drive collaboration, accountability, and performance management across teams. * Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and customer-centricity. * * * ### Required Skills & Experience * 12+ years of overall IT industry experience. * 5–7 years of experience in Delivery/Program Management within Banking or Financial Services accounts. * Strong experience managing multiple large-scale cross-functional IT projects. * Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills. * Proven experience in account mining and identifying business opportunities. * Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, governance, and delivery metrics. * Good understanding of Banking domain processes and regulatory environment. * Awareness of AI/GenAI concepts and enterprise adoption trends. * Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership capabilities. ### Preferred Qualifications * Experience working with global banking clients. * PMP / Prince2 / Agile certifications preferred. * Exposure to digital transformation, cloud, automation, or AI-led initiatives is an added advantage. ### Key Competencies * Customer Centricity * Strategic Thinking * Delivery Excellence * Relationship Management * Problem Solving * Innovation & AI Mindset * Collaboration & Leadership About NTT DATA NTT DATA is a $30 billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
