The worlds of energy, transport and artificial intelligence are colliding and Ohme is at the heart of this new era. By using technology and data integrations to connect cars, chargers, people, energy providers and more, Ohme has a powerful platform that puts the consumer at the core.
Ohme has been selling its chargers to consumers since mid 2019 and has had exponential growth since. We are now operating in multiple countries and have partnerships with the likes of VW, Mercedes, Octopus Energy, and other innovative brands.

Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Take ownership of Ohme’s ISO, licensing and regulatory registrations and the knowledge base that sits beneath them including governance and compliance policies, information security, quality management, data protection, third-party risk, and ESG policies.
- →Help build the compliance foundation that supports Ohme’s continued growth into new markets.
- →Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and against frameworks such as ISO27001, ISO9001, NIS2, ESG, OZEV, Ofgem Elexon and the Retail Energy Code and other energy sector-specific regimes appliable to Ohme in the UK, EU member countries, and beyond.
- →Execute company-internal compliance audits, organise management reviews, maintain the risk register and improvement plans in collaboration with all departments.
- →Prepare for external audits and certifications, collect evidence and ensure identified gaps and addressed continuously.
- →Support customer tender responses by handling due-diligence requests and questionnaires with regards to compliance to security, H&S, quality, and ESG.
- →Define requirements and propose automation and AI tooling solutions for automated policy compliance monitoring, audit reporting and evidence collection.
- 5+ years of experience in a governance and compliance role maintaining ISO-certified processes
- Proven track record managing tender and bid submissions end to end
- An excellent communicator with strong commercial judgement , able to secure input from senior and technical colleagues in a collaborative way
- A strong interest and curiosity to understand the full regulatory and governance landscape (safety, cyber security, ESG, energy distribution and trading), in which the company operates, able to identify new regulation and deep dive into them
- Highly organised under deadline pressure managing multiple submissions and audit cycles without losing detail
- Genuine fluency with technology: experience using document automation, AI-assisted drafting, workflow tooling or compliance platforms to improve a process rather than simply operate it.
