Finance & Strategy Lead

Fairground is a B2B GTM data platform. We ingest, enrich, and structure millions of company and contact records across verticals, and turn them into reliable go-to-market signal inside our products. Data is the product — and how well we build the pipeline behind it is the business.

What You'll Do:

• Own finance end-to-end for the India entity — budgeting, forecasting, expense and invoice management, and financial reporting that's accurate and audit-ready.

• Build the playbook: design and own the internal processes and documentation that keep us consistent as we scale, not just today.

• Own operational execution — vendor management, data tracking, and internal requests — and proactively fix inefficiencies before they cost us.

• Own financial and operational data across spreadsheets and internal tools, keeping it clean, structured, and decision-ready.

• Take full, end-to-end ownership of finance and ops projects — from scoping to delivery, with no hand-holding required.

• Be the person other teams come to when a cross-functional operational or financial problem needs solving.

• Work directly with leadership on reporting, compliance, and building processes that hold up as we grow.

• 5+ years of experience in finance, operations, accounting, or a similar role — owning systems end to end

• MBA (Finance), CA, or CMA.

• Real ownership mentality — this is core to the role, not optional. You default to fixing things, not flagging them and waiting.

• Sharp analytical instincts — you turn raw data into insight, and insight into a decision.

• Comfortable working independently on ambiguous problems, with the ability to overlap with the leadership team's working hours.

• Familiarity with financial and operational analytics tools, and a point of view on which ones are actually worth using.
