DBA Migration Engineer

Mortgage Cadence delivers enterprise mortgage technology that helps financial institutions automate loan origination, improve compliance and provide a seamless digital lending experience.

Owns database and data-store migration across the fleet, with particular focus on the 17 production environments — replication and sync, integrity validation and reconciliation, and tightly controlled cutover data freezes.

•     Plan and execute database migrations (relational and NoSQL) from Azure to Meriplex.

•     Set up replication / sync to minimise cutover downtime.

•     Validate and reconcile data integrity before and after each migration.

•     Manage production data-freeze and cutover sequencing with minimal downtime.

•     Define and rehearse data rollback and recovery procedures.

• 4+ years in database administration or data migration.

• Strong with Azure SQL / managed databases and target database platforms, including replication and backup/restore.
• Experience with large or production-critical data migrations and reconciliation.
• Scripting for data validation (SQL, Python).
• English Fluency

• Experience with near-zero-downtime cutover techniques.
