This role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. The ideal candidate has strong experience building backend services with Django, developing modern web applications with Vue.js, designing RESTful APIs, and implementing microservices that support high-volume, mission-critical systems.

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable applications using Django and Vue.js.

Build and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and integrations with internal and external systems.

Design, optimize, and maintain PostgreSQL databases, ensuring performance, scalability, and data integrity.

Collaborate closely with Product, Design, QA, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, testing, and Agile ceremonies.

Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code and contribute to continuous improvements in engineering practices.

Mentor other engineers and support knowledge sharing across the team.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

7+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer.

Strong proficiency in software engineering principles, design patterns, and modern development practices.

Strong experience developing backend applications using Python.

Experience building scalable backend services, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems.

Strong experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar SQL databases, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.

Experience developing frontend applications using Vue.js and modern JavaScript.

Experience designing and implementing microservices and service-oriented architectures.

Experience integrating internal and third-party APIs.

Proficiency with Git for version control.

Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes.

Experience with automated testing, test-driven development (TDD), and code reviews.

Experience documenting software functionality and reviewing the work of other engineers.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

7+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer.

Strong experience with Django, PostgreSQL, Vue.js, REST APIs, and microservices.

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.

Experience with automated testing, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and code reviews.

Experience building scalable, high-performance applications and working with distributed systems.

Experience in Payments, FinTech, or other high-volume transactional environments is highly desirable.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced Agile environment.
