OperationsProject Manager

The Project Manager delivers a seamless experience for consultants and clients by managing timelines, milestones, and logistics across multiple engagements. Supporting $1.0M–$2.0M+ in annual consulting revenue, this role partners with consultants and consulting teams while serving as a visible and trusted representative of Ampersand to clients.

Acting as the operational backbone of each engagement, the Project Manager establishes clear timelines, coordinates resources, and ensures deliverables are accurate, complete, and aligned with client expectations. This role maps milestones at the outset, monitors adherence to process standards, and proactively addresses potential issues. The Project Manager also gathers required client materials (e.g., résumé, job descriptions, leadership assessments, availability) in advance, bundling requests strategically to drive efficiency and completeness.

With a strong understanding of the firm’s offerings—including Executive and Organizational Diligence, Executive Coaching, and Executive Development—the Project Manager anticipates needs, estimates timing accurately, and mitigates potential risks, ensuring a positive client and executive experience. Thoughtful scheduling in coordination with the delivery team, consistent use of project management tools, and a commitment to continuous process improvement are essential to success.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment, consistently demonstrating accountability, discretion, and professionalism.
