Role Description Acts as the primary HR Business Partner across all manufacturing and logistics operations. Leads industrial relations, frontline workforce support, discipline, and capability development to maintain seamless operational continuity and industrial peace. Key Responsibilities Manages day-to-day engagement with union representatives and shop stewards, addresses collective issues, and spots and defuses disputes early. Supports the Director, Human Resources & Legal in preparing for and conducting negotiations, and in putting agreed terms into effect. Applies the collective agreement across operations, ensuring it is interpreted consistently across all shifts and sites. Handles casework for the industrial workforce, including investigations, hearings and sanctions, and ensures every process is procedurally fair and defensible. Works with operations leadership to plan shift structures, manning levels, and seasonal and contract labour needs. Oversees the engagement and management of third-party and contract labour, ensuring compliance with the Labour Act and Company standards. Drives development of the industrial workforce through skills matrices, operator competence programmes and supervisory development. Tracks attendance, overtime, absence and attrition, and agrees corrective action with the relevant function head. Looks after welfare in the operations, including canteen, transport and working conditions, and escalates where investment is needed. Provides operations leadership and the Director, Human Resources & Legal with people analytics that include interpretation and recommendations, not just data. Provides cover for the Senior Lead, HR Business Partnering (Topline & Support Functions) during absence. Performs other duties as assigned by the Director, Human Resources & Legal from time to time. Requirements Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field. Minimum 5+ years’ experience in human resource management or a related discipline. CIHRM Ghana, CIPD or SHRM membership is an advantage. A Masters in Human Resource Management or Business Administration is an advantage.
