• Working Arrangements: Hybrid. Most of the section is located at Agriculture House in Canberra CBD. Staff are expected to attend the office at least three working days each week. In-person attendance at important Agile ceremonies and other important team or section events is required.

The Enterprise Analytics and Technology Services section is seeking two Azure Cloud Platform Infrastructure Engineers with experience managing cloud-hosted infrastructure using infrastructure as code to support data and analytics workloads.

• → Deliver detailed solution design, development and implementation of Azure infrastructure supporting data and analytics workloads.
• → Manage infrastructure through a Terraform-based infrastructure as code deployment model.
• → Work with Azure-hosted data and analytics platforms, including Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Web Apps and Logic Apps.
• → Implement Azure security features covering networking, Identity and Access Management, and policy.
• → Develop and support Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• → Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design and implement Advanced Analytics and AI solutions.
• → Deliver and/or administer Databricks, Microsoft Fabric or other analytical services.

1. Experience designing, building and maintaining cloud hosted platforms and services (Infrastructure, Platform and Software as a Service) — 25%

3. Understanding of cloud security features for platforms and services such as Identity and Access Management, Networking and Policy — 20%
4. Experience working in Data and Analytics focused projects (Data Engineering, Storage or Data Science) — 15%
