Full Time and Part Time shifts available

Pinnacle Services is seeking dedicated, caring individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals at our Golden Valley location! Our Direct Support Professionals have the ability to assist persons served with developmental disabilities, mental health diagnoses, and behavioral issues in a residential setting providing support and encouragement to work towards outcomes and goals to gain life skills. We have a variety of full time and part time shifts available throughout the metro area.

Responsibilities

$22.00/hour

$16.00/hour for awake overnight shifts

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or at least 1 year experience working with people with dual diagnosis (Developmental Disability (DD) and Severe and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI))
If high school diploma or GED, must also have 6 months experience working with dual diagnosis (DD/SPMI)

Preferred Qualifications

Previous direct care experience
CPR/AED certified (will train if missing qualification)
Experience with Bipolar Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, Reactive-Attachment Disorder (RAD), Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD), Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
Experience with Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
