Requirements

Represents the Product team on all active projects.
Participates in the daily application operations / development stand-up meetings.
Supports data delivery for the clients subscribed to the product.
Work closely with team and stakeholders to develop and deliver high-quality data products.
Analyze large US healthcare claims datasets to identify patterns, data-quality issues, coverage gaps, and product-improvement opportunities.
Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, profiling, reconciliation, validation, and impact analysis.
Compare datasets and product outputs to assess the impact of source changes, revised business rules, data-period changes, and product enhancements.
Investigate complex data and product issues, perform root-cause analysis, assess business impact, and recommend practical solutions.
Analyze medical claims, pharmacy claims, prescription, payer, formulary, and patient-level data across patient, claim, payer, plan, and other relevant levels.
Support the validation of product outputs, analytical processes, data transformations, and machine-learning-generated results.
Create and maintain product documentation, including data dictionaries, business rules, requirements, test scenarios, and validation results.
Support functional testing, data validation, regression testing, defect investigation, and user acceptance testing.
Support feasibility assessments and proof-of-concept initiatives for new healthcare data and analytics capabilities.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (B.E.) or in Technology (B. Tech.). Degree in computer science or related fields preferred.

1 to 3 years of experience in healthcare analytics, product analysis, business analysis, data analysis, or a related role.
Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to structure ambiguous business questions, investigate data discrepancies, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend actionable solutions.
Strong hands-on experience with SQL, Power BI, and Microsoft Excel.
Hands-on experience analyzing US healthcare data, with exposure to one or more of the following datasets, data sources, or equivalent healthcare datasets:
Medical, pharmacy claims, and patient-level data, such as McKesson Compile, Symphony PatientSource, Komodo Health or equivalent sources.
Formulary and market-access data, such as MMIT, DRG Fingertip, or equivalent sources.

Nice to Have

Hands-on experience with Snowflake.
Understanding of medical and pharmacy claims, payer hierarchies, BIN-PCN-Group data, formulary data, market access, or patient-services analytics.
Exposure to longitudinal patient analysis, treatment patterns, patient journeys, or payer-access analytics.
Familiarity with Python, APIs, JSON, or machine-learning output validation.
Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or Agile product-development practices.
Working knowledge of US Healthcare / Market Access would be an advantage.
Experience developing in HIPAA compliant ecosystem.

May require travel domestically and/or internationally including overnight stays up to 5%.

Communication Skills: Written, Verbal, and Presentation: The successful candidate must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret production data, financial reports, and legal documents. Excellent verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal skills including ability to clearly respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, employees, and members of the business community. Must possess a rapid agility to reply to emails, provide instructions of work stream necessities or issues encountered, business and report writings in a succinct and informative manner.
Business Judgment and Strategic Thinking: Ability to think, act, and deliver value in the best interest of our clients with respect to common practices of the healthcare consulting field. Ability to extrapolate from the specific to the general and interpret from the general to the specific.
Analytic Skills: Framing macro problems into action steps or work plans for resolutions. Structuring a persuasive client presentation based on in-depth or expansive excel spreadsheets. Demonstrable interpretive and solution identification skills with the ability to understand multiple types of quantitative and qualitative data heightened with strong resolution skills.
Collaboration and Teamwork: Ability to give and receive constructive feedback and work effectively across the organization to accomplish team goals is critical. The successful candidate must possess excellent judgment, management, and conflict resolution skills. Ability to work with team members to convey results, incorporate enhancements and productionize processes across projects. Must be able to understand the dynamics of how a team interconnects and relies upon every member.
Strategic Thinking: Conceptualize outside of the aspects of a project at hand, with an ability to visualize how the work contributes to and drives forward the overall project.
Solutions oriented: must be able to display resourcefulness and confidence under pressure.
Resilience: must be able to look past obstacles and roadblocks, ask questions and for support, and find their way around any obstacle.
