We are seeking a committed and experienced professional in the field of Human Resources (HR) to join our dynamic organisation as soon as possible. In this role of significant responsibility, you will oversee both operational and strategic HR activities and play an active part in shaping the further development of our corporate culture and HR processes.
Your Responsibilities:
HR management
- Drafting and publishing job advertisements
- Conducting application and interview processes
- Onboarding new employees
- Drafting of job profiles and job descriptions
- Promoting a modern, employee-focused corporate culture
- Developing and implementing measures to boost staff motivation
- Conducting staff appraisals, performance reviews and reflection and development discussions
- Contributing to remuneration and incentive schemes in collaboration with senior management
- Team development and conflict management
- Promoting a positive working atmosphere
- Staff planning in collaboration with senior management
- Selection and supervision of interns
- Providing professional guidance and support to team leaders
- Monitoring staff deployment planning in collaboration with senior management
- Handling employment law matters (such as drafting contracts, issuing warnings, and terminations)
Administrative tasks
- Managing and maintaining employee records, HR documentation, and personnel files
- Ensuring accurate administration of employee data, attendance, leave, and payroll-related processes
- Preparing contracts, employment references, HR documents, and onboarding/offboarding documentation
- Ensuring compliance with employment law, GDPR regulations, occupational health and safety requirements, and internal policies
- Coordinating communication with external authorities, insurance providers, and service partners
- Supporting HR reporting, training documentation, audits, and the continuous improvement of HR processes and administrative systems
Collaboration within the management team
- Regular communication with senior management
- Participation in management meetings, discussions and supervision sessions
- Active involvement in strategic and operational decisions
Your Profile:
- Several years’ professional experience in Human Resources, personnel management or a comparable role
- Knowledge of Portuguese employment law
- Experience in staff development, recruitment and team management
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- An independent, structured and responsible approach to work
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and digital work and communication tools
- Knowledge of social media and online recruitment
- Strong interpersonal skills, organisational ability and the ability to work well in a team
Language Skills:
Essential:
- Portuguese (very good)
- English (very good)
- German (advantage)
