CZ: Project Manager - Construction Procurement

Our client is a leading European real estate investment, development, and asset management platform with a strong pipeline of developments. Known for high-quality delivery, long-term ownership, and strong internal standards, the company operates at scale across CEE. Project Manager - Construction Procurement /Prague-based/ CZ/2604/PMCP This role sits at the core of project delivery, owning procurement across key construction packages and materials. You will drive supplier selection, cost optimization, and contract negotiations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high technical standards. You will work closely with the Group Head of Procurement based in Prague, gaining strong exposure to strategic decision-making while focusing on the Czech and Slovak markets. Main responsibilities (but not restricted to): Lead procurement of construction works and materials across multiple projects in CZ/SK Manage full tender process: supplier sourcing, RFQs, bid evaluation, and contractor selection Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, and framework agreements with subcontractors Build and maintain a strong supplier network across the Czech and Slovak markets Monitor and optimize unit prices, cost per sqm, and overall project budgets Collaborate with internal teams (PM, Design, Technical, Controlling) during all project phases Identify and mitigate commercial, contractual, and delivery risks Maintain supplier and pricing databases to support strategic sourcing decisions Support value engineering and cost-efficiency initiatives without compromising quality Contribute to project preparation phases, including documentation, budgeting, and phasing Requirements: Proven experience in construction procurement or technical procurement (multi-project environment) Strong knowledge of construction packages (structure, facade, roofing, envelope, etc.) Track record in supplier sourcing, tendering, and contract negotiations Solid understanding of construction costs, unit pricing, and budgeting Ability to work cross-functionally with project and technical teams Strong commercial mindset with focus on cost efficiency and value engineering Czech/Slovak fluency required, and English is a plus The Client offers: Competitive salary Stable pipeline of projects within a leading European developer High ownership and direct impact on project delivery Direct exposure to Group-level procurement leadership Fast-paced environment with strong learning curve Professional growth within an international platform To discuss further details, please send your updated CV in English to: seth@propertytalents.com Please note that we reserve the right to respond only to selected candidates.
