Key Result Areas:

►    Develop and recommend plans of commercial and sales enhancement to drive business growth in Al Shaqab.
►    Plan and engage in the pursue of potential new commercial opportunities to grow business, generate revenue, and grow innovation.
►    Set up partnership acquisition plans and lead the sponsorship implementation process within Al
Shaqab.
►    Oversee the relationships with local and international organizations in order to expand referral
sources and to identify suitable prospects for partnerships.
►    Oversee the existing clients' relationship management programs to support business development endeavors.
►    Manage and oversee the cross-functional teams' operation on projects to ensure that all efforts are aimed at expanding image and achieving set annual revenue goals.
►    Oversee and manage the execution of Al Shaqab events from Commercial perspective, including the
initial planning through defining objectives & timeline, execution phase (e.g logistics, on-site
management, etc), and post-event phase.
►    Ensure all business-related matters are conducted within standard and required frameworks and in adherence to policies and procedures.
►    Prepare high-level reports on projects undertaken by the Business Development section.
►    Other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisor

. Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. 

6-8 years of relevant full-time work experience.

 Experience in a corporate/business focused environment is preferable.
Knowledge of business development and sales processes preferably related to events is preferable.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills are required.
 Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft and edit a variety of written reports and communications and to articulate ideas clearly and concisely; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
Proficiency in MS Office applications
