A growing firm specialising in high-impact in-transit advertising is seeking a resilient and focused Business Development Consultant to join their team. This is a dedicated "hunting" role, ideal for a professional who thrives on building a territory from the ground up rather than managing established accounts. The organisation focuses on high-value partnerships rather than high-volume transactions, requiring a consultant who can navigate complex sales cycles with senior decision-makers. The successful candidate will join a high-performance environment where grit and consistency are directly rewarded with significant earning potential and clear career advancement. The working hours are 40 hours per week, based on-site at the company’s offices in Glenhazel. Key Responsibilities Identify and secure new corporate partnerships through proactive cold calling, professional networking, and bespoke email outreach. Present sophisticated, high-value advertising solutions tailored to meet the specific commercial objectives of potential clients. Engage with executive-level stakeholders, including Directors and Heads of Marketing, to influence advertising strategy. Maintain a disciplined prospecting rhythm to ensure a robust sales pipeline and consistent long-term revenue growth. Exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets through focused daily activity and strategic territory management. Requirements 0–2 years of experience in a sales or professional business environment (high-potential graduates are encouraged to apply). Must possess a valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle for client engagements. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to hold professional, unscripted conversations with senior leaders. A resilient "outbound mindset" with the ability to maintain motivation through the sales cycle. Strong competitive drive and a natural desire to achieve top-tier results. Preferred Qualifications A tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, or a related field is advantageous but not essential for candidates who demonstrate high aptitude and the required mindset. Required Software Skills Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) LinkedIn for professional networking and lead generation Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Zoho CRM or similar) is beneficial Benefits Competitive basic salary with a commission structure.
