Operating on a full-time basis, this position is designed for an early-career professional looking to take ownership of daily transactional processing, invoicing routines, and primary ledger maintenance within a professional services environment. Key Responsibilities: Process daily financial transactions and capture journals to maintain accurate ledger accounts. Generate and distribute client invoices in strict accordance with consulting project agreements. Monitor accounts receivable balances and perform professional debt collection follow-ups. Capture accounts payable data, reconcile supplier statements, and prepare internal payment runs. Perform routine bank statement reconciliations to ensure up-to-date cash flow records. Organise financial documentation and assist the management team with monthly reporting workflows and tax administration preparations. Requirements Practical foundational experience or exposure within a bookkeeping, finance administration, or transactional accounting capacity. Sound baseline understanding of fundamental bookkeeping practices and double-entry principles. Strong written and verbal communication skills appropriate for interacting within a professional consulting environment. High level of attention to detail, numeric accuracy, and structured organisational habits. Preferred Qualifications: A relevant diploma, certificate, or foundational tertiary qualification in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial administration. Previous exposure working within a consulting, agency, or professional services business model. Required Software Skills: Competency in intermediate Microsoft Excel functions for managing financial spreadsheets and basic data analysis.
