Continuous Improvement Manager (CI), Aerospace Sector Position:

Continuous Improvement Manager
Location: North Bangalore, India (On-site)
Employment Type: Full-time / Permanent
Remuneration: To be discussed based on current salary and expectations

The Company: A leading aerospace manufacturer focused on implementing industry best practices and continuous operational improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Define and deploy CI strategy: Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, standard work.
  • Identify bottlenecks through data analysis and lead corrective actions.
  • Run cross-functional projects to improve productivity, quality, lead time, and cost.
  • Work with production, engineering, quality, and supply chain to enhance manufacturability.
  • Establish and track CI KPIs and dashboards.
  • Train and coach teams on CI methodologies and embed best practices.
  • Lead process standardization, pilot projects, and equipment/process optimization (including 5-axis, CNC).
  • Report CI progress to senior management.

Requirements:

  • ~10 years experience in continuous improvement within aerospace or high-precision manufacturing.
  • Proficient with Lean/Six Sigma tools; Green/Black Belt preferred.
  • Solid understanding of machining impacts (5-axis, CNC, VMC) on assembly.
  • Strong analytical, project management, and change-management skills.
  • Engineering or industrial manufacturing degree preferred.
