About the Role
~1 min readAn innovative and fast-growing international deep-tech manufacturing company is looking for a Senior IT Infrastructure & Systems Administrator to lead the architecture, scalability, and optimization of its mission-critical IT infrastructure across Spain and global operations.
This is a strategic, hands-on role where you'll be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of enterprise systems while supporting the company's continued international growth. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, driving infrastructure initiatives and defining best practices across complex, high-availability environments.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Architect, deploy, and maintain mission-critical IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and optimal performance.
- →Design and implement enterprise security policies, identity management solutions, and access control frameworks.
- →Lead infrastructure strategy, including vendor management, hardware lifecycle planning, and capacity forecasting.
- →Drive complex infrastructure projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and technology implementations.
- →Establish technical standards, documentation, and operational best practices.
- →Design, implement, and maintain enterprise clustering and networking solutions, optimizing connectivity, resilience, and security.
- →Collaborate with global teams to continuously improve infrastructure reliability and operational excellence.
Requirements
~1 min read- 7+ years of experience managing complex enterprise IT infrastructure.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Strong experience designing and supporting high-availability environments, clustering technologies, and enterprise infrastructure.
- Advanced knowledge of:
- Windows and macOS environments
- Active Directory
- Enterprise networking
- Meraki
- Remote Monitoring & Management (RMM) tools
- Experience administering Linux systems is highly desirable.
- Database administration experience is considered a strong plus.
- Professional fluency in English and Spanish is required.
- German is a plus.
- Availability to travel occasionally between company locations within Spain.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with a strategic mindset. You'll be comfortable working in complex, fast-paced environments, leading infrastructure initiatives from design through execution, and acting as a technical reference for critical IT systems supporting international operations.
