→Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned site, providing for the security and safety of hotel/resort property and personnel
→Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures
→Preserves orders and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, guests, and premises
→Controls access to hotel/resort property
→Patrols assigned site on foot, bicycle, or in vehicle; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, and unauthorized persons
→Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations
→Responds to incidents of fire, medical emergency, flooding, water discharge, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents
→Prepares logs and reports as required
→Protects the organization's image by keeping security and incident information confidential
→Other duties as assigned by management

High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be at least 18 years of age
Strong command of the English Language – written and verbal
Knowledge of security operations and procedures
High level of integrity
Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances
Ability to adapt to changes in the external environment and organization
Ability to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports
Ability to analyze situations objectively while demonstrating emotional control
Good organizational skills
