The full continuum of River Edge Behavioral Health services provides state-of-the-art treatment and support services for more than 13,000 children, youth, families and adults annually, who experience mental illness, addiction, co-occurring disorders or developmental disabilities. River Edge is currently looking for a Food Service Worker to prepare meals for clients at our large commercial kitchen. The ideal candidate will have a consistent work history in a large food service kitchen and the ability to work well with a team preparing and serving over 500 meals a day. Under general supervision of the Food Service Manager this position plans, prepares, cooks, and serves meals to students, clients, and staff in a cafeteria setting. Will perform other job related duties as assigned. Location: 5113 College Crossing, Macon, GA. LifeSPRING kitchen Schedule: Monday-Friday 5:30am-1:30pm OR Monday - Friday 7am-3pm both with 1 weekend per month Sat/Sun and all Holidays Full time position with benefits Qualifications: Demonstrate excellent customer service with a positive demeanor when dealing with clients Adhere to food safety standards at all times, making sure that all food is free or contaminants and pathogens that might make clients sick. Clean pots, pans, and any other dishes in the kitchen as needed, adhering to safety and sanitation standards at all times.
