Cardiac Sonographer Requirements
·       Minimum one (1) year of experience performing cardiac diagnostic procedures and related responsibilities
·       Current ARDMS - RDCS certification
·       Demonstrate professionalism and effective interpersonal skills in a diverse population.
·       Ability to be self-directed and organized to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
·       Must be able to pass all necessary health requirements for hospital employment, including drug screening and background check
·       Must have a current BLS/CPR
 
Job Responsibilities
·       Demonstrate proficiency in medical diagnostic imaging equipment
·       Perform a wide range of Echo imaging procedures, primarily in an ER environment
·       Communicate pertinent clinical information and findings to the radiologist.
·       Provide excellent care to their patients while maintaining a good rapport and excellent service to all client hospitals and staff.
·       Utilize systems such as PACS systems and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) to obtain or enter appropriate care data.
 
Physical Requirements
·       Ability to lift 50–100 lbs., including patients, portable equipment, and positioning tools
·       Physical agility to bend, twist, and reposition as needed
·       Endurance for prolonged standing, walking, and multiple back-to-back procedures
