Search Engine Evaluator - Japanese (Japan)

Working on behalf of RWS, you will test and evaluate how our clients’ search engine responds to everyday searches from everyday people.

Using your search expertise, you will work through a variety of assignments playing a crucial part in enhancing AI data which will be used to improve the online search engine experience of our clients’ users.

Language: English and Japanese proficiency

Location: Japan (Work from Home)

Schedule: E.g. 8-30 h/week. Avg. 15 h/weekly

Pay: Up to 15 USD/hour equivalent to ~2300 JPY/hour

Role Description: Join RWS Group as an evaluator to enhance search engine results. Provide feedback on text, audio, images, and videos to refine AI data used by major search engines, social media sites, streaming platforms and more.

To be successful in the role, you will need to speak English on a B2 level (upper-intermediate) or higher. B2 is equivalent to:

TOEIC Listening & Reading: 785 to 940 total score

IELTS: 5.5 to 6.0

TOEFL iBT: 72 to 94

Cambridge English Scale: 160 to 179
