Scope is a registered provider under the NDIS and delivers a range of services including supported independent living, short term accommodation (respite), social connections, lifestyle options, therapy and employment services in over 420 service locations across Victoria and NSW.
Reporting to the Head of Clinical Practice, this role will be responsible for designing, implementing and evaluating education initiatives that align with NDIS Practice Standards and Quality Indicators, ensuring all training content reflects current best practices and regulatory requirements.
- provide leadership and mentorship to foster and culture of continuous learning and quality improvement and enabling Scope’s workforce to deliver excellent care
- lead and develop the delivery of specific HIDPA (High Intensity Daily Personal Activities) education programs for Scope
- Provide expert clinical guidance and support as a subject matter resource
- Identify training needs and evaluate competency gaps proactively and use data from incident reports, client outcomes, audits and feedback to pinpoint where areas of support will be required
- Drive quality improvement through education
- Registered Nurse (Division 1) with minimum 5 years’ experience within an Acute / Aged Care Setting
- AHPRA Registration and work rights
- Proven experience in education programs, training developing and delivering training programs and competency assessments, mentoring staff and using adult learning principles to effectively teach practical skills
- Ability to innovate with AI to develop scalable training across large geographical regions
- Ability to travel on occasion to Victorian Metro and Regional sites
- Strong knowledge of instructional design for clinical topics and adapting to different learning styles
