Responsibilities

Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:

  • Container Repair Management: Coordinate inspection, maintenance, refurbishment, and repair activities for returnable containers, racks, pallets, and packaging assets.  
    Ensure packaging assets are maintained in safe, functional, and production-ready condition.  
    Monitor repair workflows and prioritize repairs based on production and supplier requirements.  
  • Repair Vendor Management: Manage end-to-end relationships with external container repair suppliers and service providers.  
    Develop and maintain vendor performance scorecards measuring quality, turnaround time, cost, responsiveness, and service levels.  
    Coordinate repair forecasts and capacity planning with vendors to ensure sufficient repair capabilities.  
    Review repair quotations, validate repair scopes, and support cost-control initiatives.  
    Conduct regular supplier reviews and business meetings to drive continuous performance improvements.  
    Lead supplier corrective action activities for quality concerns, recurring failures, missed delivery commitments, and non-conformance issues.  
    Verify compliance with contract requirements, repair specifications, quality standards, and service-level agreements.  
    Support sourcing activities, supplier evaluations, and onboarding of new repair vendors when required.  
  • Container Fleet Management: Monitor packaging fleet condition, utilization, availability, and repair status.  
    Track container inventories across production, warehouses, suppliers, and repair facilities. 
    Establish inventory strategies to minimize operational disruptions caused by damaged packaging.  
  • Damage Analysis & Root Cause Investigation: Investigate packaging failures and recurring damage trends.  
    Utilize structured problem-solving methodologies such as 5 Why, Fishbone, and 8D approaches.  
    Partner with Logistics, Manufacturing, Suppliers, and Packaging Engineering to implement sustainable corrective actions. 
     
  • Quality & Compliance: Ensure repaired containers meet Scout Motors safety, quality, ergonomic, and operational requirements.  
    Conduct quality inspections and audits of repaired packaging assets and repair facilities.  
    Maintain compliance with company policies and applicable industry standards. 
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives that improve container durability, repair processes, asset utilization, and packaging lifecycle performance.  
    Support implementation of best practices to reduce packaging damage and extend container service life.  
    Develop recommendations for design improvements based on recurring field failures.  
  • KPI & Data Analytics:  
  • Develop and maintain KPIs related to:  
    • Container availability 
    • Damage rates 
    • Repair lead times 
    • Repair costs 
    • Vendor performance
    • Fleet utilization 
    • Create dashboards and management reports to support business decision-making.
