Application Software Developer

• →Deep technical expert and thought leader that helps identify and accelerate adoption of leading engineering practices, while staying up on industry innovations, trends, and practices
• →Participate in proof-of-concepts with Software Development leadership for emerging technologies that should be integrated and/or introduced to ensure IT has the capabilities needed to respond to future business requirements
• →Ensure adherence to best practices regarding technology standards, change management, release management, application lifecycles, and enterprise architecture
• →Analyze software specifications and system requirements to design scalable and functional applications and solutions
• →Develop software programs or systems using various programming languages and technologies, including microservices/serverless patterns and technical influence on architecture
• →Take ownership of the deployment pipeline, ensuring that every code commit is automatically tested, scanned for security vulnerabilities, and deployed via modern CI/CD tools
• →Document software programs in code and with diagrams, charts, mark down, and other documentation formats and/or systems
• →Collaborate with other software engineers, project managers, product owners, QA engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure quality and timely delivery
• →Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment to support
• →Learn about industry developments to stay on top of the latest advancements

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience and
• Familiarity with modern application architectures and coding, to include backend and frontend development (e.g., Python, Node.js, jQuery, Angular, React, Flask, etc.) and
• Experience with SQL, NoSQL, and other database types and
• Experience with web services and APIs (RESTful, SOAP, etc.) and
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, etc.) and
• Experience with both AI-powered development tools for code acceleration, quality, and automated testing and building AI-integrated capabilities and
• Experience with lean and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
• Strong organization, prioritization, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Initiative, innovative, good judgment, and ability to work independently under pressure in a changing environment
• Ability to make sound decisions in a timely manner when solutions are not clear, risk is variable, and information ambiguous
