• →Two (2) years of college or equivalent training/experience.
• →One (1)+ year of experience in retail banking or credit union.
• →This position requires the ability to work at any assigned credit union branch location.
• →Proven track record with financial sales products.
• →Comprehensive knowledge of the state and federal regulations such as Reg. B, Reg. E, Reg. D, Reg. CC, Reg. Z, and the Bank Secrecy Act.
• →Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
• →Progressive thinker with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• →Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with members.
• →Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• →Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• →Ability to arrive on time for all scheduled shifts.
• →Ability to comprehend and apply credit union policy, procedure and protocols.
• →Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).

• Bachelor’s degree, or higher, in business or related field.
• Fluent in Spanish.
• Proficiency in leading or coaching fellow employees.
• Formally trained in equity and inclusion, or equivalent experience.
• Additional financial institution experience.

Working Conditions:

• This is an in-branch role in the Greater Seattle area of Washington State. We serve members every day of the week except Sunday and have limited hours on Saturday.
• While this position is assigned to a primary branch, the Member Consultant is expected to provide support at other branch locations as needed. This flexibility helps ensure members receive timely, exceptional service wherever they choose to bank.
• Team members may attend special off-hour meetings and seminars.
• The nature of work may include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
