Airport Security Officer: Full-Time TCO (Overnight Shift)

As an Airport Security Officer: Full-Time TCO (Overnight Shift) in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government airport location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service to travelers, visitors, and staff. You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment. This role requires 2 weeks of paid, in person training, in a full time capacity before starting the shift applied to. Training will be Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm

Requirements:

• 18+ Years of Age
• Valid Drivers License
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
• Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam

 

• →Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and airport partners by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• →Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• →Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport facilities, terminal public areas, access points, parking areas, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• →Monitor for security-related concerns, hazards, and irregular conditions, and promptly report observations to appropriate personnel.
• →Assist with access control, directions, and visitor inquiries while maintaining a professional presence in a government transportation location.

• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
