As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing visitor access, and conducting routine patrols. You will remain visible to help deter incidents while providing professional customer service and clear communication. • →Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• →Verify identification, credentials, delivery appointments, and authorization for entry and exit in accordance with site procedures.
• →Monitor vehicle and pedestrian access points, direct authorized traffic, and maintain accurate visitor, driver, and access records.
• →Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders when required.
• →Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, dock areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
