We're looking for a Senior Billing Specialist to take ownership of key billing and accounting processes, ensure financial accuracy, and help strengthen the systems that support our growing business.

As a Senior Billing Specialist at SellCord, you'll own key billing and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, reconciliations, and payment tracking. You'll identify and resolve discrepancies, maintain accurate financial records, and help improve billing processes and workflows.

You'll work closely with Finance and other teams to resolve billing issues and ensure accurate financial information across the business.

  Own the day-to-day billing and invoicing process, ensuring invoices are accurate and issued on time.

  Manage accounts receivable activities, including payment tracking, outstanding balances, and follow-up on overdue invoices.

  Maintain accurate customer and billing records in QuickBooks and other relevant systems.

  Reconcile billing transactions, payments, and accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies.

  Prepare billing and accounts receivable reports and provide visibility into outstanding balances and collections.

  Partner with internal teams to resolve billing questions, discrepancies, and customer account issues.

  Identify opportunities to improve and streamline billing processes, controls, and workflows.

  Support month-end close and provide financial information and documentation as needed.

• →

  Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day billing-related questions and escalations.

• 4+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, accounting, or a similar finance operations role.

• Strong hands-on experience with billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, and payment reconciliation.

• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software; QuickBooks experience is strongly preferred.

• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills and comfort working with financial data and reports.

• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when handling financial transactions.

• Ability to independently identify, investigate, and resolve billing discrepancies.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage recurring deadlines and multiple priorities.

• Proactive approach to identifying and improving billing processes and workflows.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
