SERVPRO of Chesterfield, Richmond, Chesapeake, and Hampton is hiring a Contents Crew Chief at our Chantilly Office!

As the front-line representative of the SERVPRO® brand, the Contents Crew Chief demonstrates the company’s Here to Help® commitment to customers and clients. This is done by coordinating, monitoring, and performing work activities on projects to successfully fulfill service needs and facilitate a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and perform production processes as scheduled and ensure quality control
Manage the customer and client experience and overall customer satisfaction through the project process.
Communicate clear expectations to content technicians and supervise their activities
Document a detailed and accurate job file to support the services provided
Manage labor and consumable item usage on assigned projects
Communicate with contents project manager and office staff on project progress and issues

Additional Responsibilities:

Communicate and follow all OSHA guidelines for job safety
Manage assets by protecting and using equipment and materials properly
Coach and train restoration technicians

Position Requirements

Valid driver’s license
High school diploma/GED (preferred)
At least 1 year of experience in restoration, preferably contents cleaning
IICRC certification a plus, not required

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (i.e. crawl spaces, attics)
Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
Ability to work with/around cleaning agents

Compensation: The salary range listed reflects the total target annual compensation for this position, which includes both base salary and commission opportunities. Individual earnings will vary based on performance, commission achievement, and other applicable factors.
