Purpose of the Job: To support the Engineering team in technical design, power systems engineering, and infrastructure optimization, while developing technical competence in telecom infrastructure engineering. Education ● Higher National Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline. Any Other Specifications ● Must be a recent graduate to be eligible for the Graduate Program. ● Strong interest in telecom infrastructure, field operations, and energy systems. Any other skills Required ● Basic proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. ● Willingness to work in field environments and travel to sites. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Support monitoring of site availability and operational performance KPIs • Assist in tracking fuel consumption, grid performance, and solar energy contribution • Support analysis of energy-related OPEX and cost drivers • Assist in identifying performance trends and underperforming sites • Support preparation of performance dashboards and reports • Participate in root cause analysis for high-cost or recurring incidents • Support OPEX saving and energy optimisation initiatives • Assist in tracking savings realised versus targets • Support coordination with NOC, Operations, and Engineering teams • Maintain accurate performance documentation and reports Person Specification (desired skills): • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Basic understanding of energy and operational performance concept • Good communication and interpersonal skills • Willingness to learn and take initiative • Attention to detail • Ability to work with data and reports • Team-oriented mindset • Professional approach to work Key Performance Indicators: • Timely and accurate preparation of performance and energy reports • Contribution to fuel, grid, solar, and OPEX optimisation initiatives • Accuracy of performance data and analysis • Compliance with reporting processes and procedures • Support to continuous performance improvement activities
