Special Events Security Guard

We are currently seeking professional security officers for our special events staff. This is a part time postiton during concert season for downtown Wilmingotn.

Must be able to:

• Pass a criminal background check
• Be able to stand for long periods of time
• Work well with others
• Have reliable transportaion to events 
• Be customer friendly

Pay $18.00 per hour 

A Signal Special Events Security Guard will conduct and ensure security of all guests and access points for the Special Events location. All duties listed below are minimum requirements – additional duties listed in the site’s Post Orders are requirements as well.

• →Service-oriented person who places value on each individual guest interaction
• →Insatiable desire to help and support guests and team members
• →Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times
• →Effective communication skills with the ability to communicate with a wide variety of people in an exciting environment
• →Ability to take direction and demonstrate flexibility with shifting priorities on event day
• →Ability to work full stadium events to include nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Ability to stand for prolonged periods
• Some positions may require the repeated climbing of stairs
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

• The noise level in the work environment is usually loud/very loud on event days
• This position may require work in inclement weather to include heat, cold, rain, snow

• 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED
• Pass background check and drug test
• Must have reliable transportation
• Complete training modules within first month
• Excellent organization, oral, and written communication skills
• Demonstrate a commitment to service, organization values and professionalism through appropriate conduct and demeanor at all times
• Must be able to move equipment weighing up to 20 pounds
