Our client is a leading global automobile company with operations spanning South America, South Africa, the Middle East, Sri Lanka, and Japan. With a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and customer service across diverse markets, they have an established operation in Guyana and are looking for a driven, hands-on professional to lead vehicle operations in-market.
We are looking for a Manager – Vehicle Operations to take ownership of day-to-day vehicle operations in Guyana. This is a high-visibility role suited to an early-to-mid career professional who is eager to take on operational leadership responsibility within a global organization.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Oversee end-to-end vehicle operations including logistics, servicing schedules, and compliance
- →Manage relationships with local dealers, service centers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies
- →Ensure vehicle inventory, quality control, and delivery timelines meet company standards
- →Monitor operational KPIs and prepare regular performance reports for regional leadership
- →Lead and develop a local operations team, ensuring alignment with global company standards
- →Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks, proposing process improvements
- →Ensure compliance with Guyanese transport, safety, and import/export regulations
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Automotive Engineering, or a related field
- 3–6 years of experience in vehicle operations, fleet management, automotive dealership operations, or logistics
- Prior people-management or team-lead experience preferred
- Strong understanding of the local automotive market and regulatory environment in Guyana
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with operations/inventory management systems (MS Office / ERP tools)
- Candidates must currently reside in Guyana and hold valid authorization to work in Guyana without sponsorship
