Housekeeping

Job Description The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, orderliness, and appearance of guest rooms, public areas, laundry facilities, and wardrobe operations in accordance with hotel standards. Key Responsibilities Clean and maintain guest rooms, public areas, hallways, staircases, and other assigned areas. Make beds, clean bathrooms, replenish guest amenities, and restock minibars as needed. Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens, uniforms, and guest laundry. Issue, receive, organize, and maintain employee uniforms and wardrobe inventory. Stock and maintain housekeeping carts, equipment, and supplies. Follow proper cleaning, safety, and sanitation procedures at all times. Report maintenance issues, accidents, lost-and-found items, and guest concerns to the Supervisor. Keep work areas, pantries, storage rooms, laundry, and wardrobe areas clean and organized. Return assigned keys, radios, and equipment at the end of each shift. Support teamwork and maintain positive working relationships with all departments. Qualifications and Requirements At least College Level. Housekeeping experience in Rooms, Public Area, Laundry, or Wardrobe operations. Knowledge of housekeeping procedures and cleaning standards. Able to safely handle cleaning chemicals and equipment. Physically fit and able to lift, push, and pull heavy loads. Good communication, teamwork, and time management skills. Willing to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays. Must obtain and maintain any required certification.
