We’re looking for an experienced Data Engineering Consultant to take a leading role in defining data strategies, designing architecture, and delivering modern cloud data platforms for our clients. This role combines deep technical expertise, architectural leadership, and a client-facing consultancy approach – from the first technical conversation all the way to a solution running in production. If you like owning a data platform project end-to-end, from strategy to delivery, this is your role.
5+ years of experience in Data Engineering and Data Architecture, including hands-on delivery of complex projects
Advanced hands-on experience and deep architectural understanding of Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Lakehouse/Data Warehouse, Synapse Data Engineering, Data Factory)
Strong proficiency in SQL and Python or PySpark, along with transformation and orchestration tools (dbt, Airflow, or native cloud tools)
Familiarity with at least one major cloud provider (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and modern engineering/DevOps practices
Proven experience leading client-facing engagements, including technical presales or solution consulting
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience leading architectural workshops and explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences
A track record of leading or mentoring project teams, and taking ownership of delivery outcomes
Fluency in English, both written and spoken

Experience with Data Mesh concepts, Data Governance, or real-time data processing (streaming)
Experience with financial, banking, telco, or other regulated-industry data projects
Experience with LLM/AI-driven solutions and modern agentic or GenAI architectures
Architecture & Design: Define and implement end-to-end modern data platforms using leading cloud technologies
Consulting Leadership: Advise clients on technology selection, cost optimization, security, and migration strategies from legacy systems to a modern data stack
Technical Execution: Build complex ETL/ELT data pipelines, perform data modeling (Data Vault, Star Schema), and establish DataOps and CI/CD practices
Presales & Solutioning: Lead technical presales activities – understand client needs, shape the proposed solution, and present it convincingly to stakeholders
Delivery Oversight: Translate business requirements into clear technical roadmaps, and monitor project delivery to ensure quality, timelines, and client expectations are met
Mentorship: Provide technical leadership for engineering teams, conduct code reviews, establish internal standards, and mentor junior team members
