Key Responsibilities:
- Outbound prospecting – Make calls to potential clients to generate awareness and interest (warm and cold calls)
- Appointment setting – Book warm meetings for Owners to close (you won’t be closing deals yourself)
- Lead qualification – Educate prospects on the service and gauge interest enough to warrant an in-person meeting
- Market awareness building – Help establish brand awareness for the franchise, which currently has low market recognition
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven outbound phone comfort — 50+ calls per day without avoidance or burnout
- Coachable and feedback-driven — actively participates in weekly AI script refinement
- Self-disciplined remote worker — structures their own day, no hand-holding required
- CRM discipline — logs every call same-day in HubSpot, maintains clean pipeline
- Persistent but professional — systematic follow-up, handles rejection without going dark
- English fluency — must be credible and natural on calls with US commercial kitchen buyers
- Comfortable with ambiguity — startup-stage environment, systems still being built
- Experience working in kitchen / food service industry (preferred)
- Experience using HubSpot and Claude AI
Volume Expectation:
- 50 outbound calls per day, 5 days per week.
- Optimal calling windows for commercial kitchens:
- 5:30–10am EST (staff starting prep, accessible before lunch service)
- 2–5pm EST (between lunch and dinner, managers doing office / paperwork).
- Do NOT call 10am–2pm EST (active lunch service).
- South Africa timezone note: 5:30–10am EST = 11:30am–4pm SA
- 2–5pm EST = 8–11pm SA — second window requires evening availability commitment from rep.
- Meeting target: 5 qualified in-person meetings booked per week, combined across both territories
Preferred Buyer Context:
Target buyers are commercial kitchen decision makers across independent restaurants, multi-unit franchises, and institutions (hospitals, universities, corporate cafeterias)
Key Points about the Role:
- No self-sourcing leads for first 90 days (provided with lead lists)
- Will receive AI-powered guidance and feedback on calls
- Expected to handle ~5 weekly appointments once ramped up
Success Metrics:
- Number of booked meetings
- Call quality and engagement
- Behavioral indicators (assertiveness, hustle) within 30 days
