About the Role

We’re looking for a high-ownership operator who can sit at the intersection of people, priorities, and pace. This role blends three critical functions:

  • People Operations: establish and run clean, scalable people systems.
  • Growth/Operations Support: drive special projects that move the business forward.

You'll work directly with leadership, gain high context fast, and become a core execution partner across the company.

 


1) People Operations (Core)
You’ll build and run People Ops systems that are lightweight but solid as we scale.

Responsibilities include:

  • Own hiring logistics end-to-end: posting, screening coordination, interview flow, candidate experience.
  • Maintain and improve onboarding/offboarding (checklists, accounts, IT handoff, welcome flow).
  • Keep employee records, contracts, and policy documentation accurate and compliant.
  • Support performance cycles: pulse checks, reviews scheduling, feedback processes.
  • Create consistent rituals: team updates, all-hands support, culture moments.
  • Be the first point of contact for people-related questions.
     

What success looks like: Hiring and onboarding feel seamless; team members get fast answers; people processes are documented, simple, and respected.
 

2) Growth & Business Operations Support (Stretch + Development)
You’ll help leadership execute cross-functional priorities and growth projects.

Responsibilities include:

  • Drive special projects (e.g., launching a process, improving a funnel, organizing a partnership pipeline).
  • Maintain simple dashboards / trackers for key business priorities.
  • Coordinate across teams to unblock bottlenecks.
  • Take rough ideas from the CEO and turn them into scoped, executed plans.
  • Spot gaps before they become fires.
     

What success looks like: Projects move faster because you’re there; ambiguity turns into structured execution.

  • Has 3–7 years experience in a hybrid People Ops / Ops role (startup experience a big plus).
  • Strong operational instincts: notices what’s missing and fixes it without being asked.
  • Excellent written communication and judgment.
  • Obsessed with organization and high attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working directly with executives; high discretion and trustworthiness.
  • Remote-ready: proactive, responsive, and great at async updates.
     

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience building early-stage people systems (hiring, onboarding, policies).
  • Familiarity with tools like Notion, Google Workspace, Slack, ATS systems, basic spreadsheets.
  • Experience owning cross-functional projects.
  • Interest in startup growth or business ops.
