We are looking for a Customer & Technical Success Manager with strong experience in referral and affiliate marketing. This role combines customer success, technical onboarding, digital marketing strategy, and client retention.
The ideal candidate is comfortable guiding clients through platform setup, helping them design high-performing referral and affiliate campaigns, troubleshooting technical issues, and advising businesses on how to generate more referrals and improve ROI.
This person should be proactive, organized, technical enough to support integrations and workflows, and strategic enough to help clients improve campaign performance.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Welcome new customers and guide them through platform onboarding.
- Help clients set up advanced referral and affiliate campaigns.
- Support integrations with tools such as HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, Google Tag Manager, WordPress, Zapier, Mailchimp, CRMs, e-commerce platforms, and other marketing tools.
- Assist with technical setup, custom workflows, and troubleshooting.
- Apply basic understanding of JavaScript and APIs when supporting custom solutions.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to resolve technical issues and share client feedback.
- Manage a portfolio of client accounts and provide personalized support.
- Document customer interactions, goals, outcomes, and next steps in the CRM.
- Act as a strategic advisor for referral and affiliate marketing programs.
- Help clients optimize campaign structure, incentives, referral flows, and multi-channel strategies.
- Recommend best practices to increase referrals, engagement, conversions, and ROI.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve customer outcomes and platform adoption.
- Monitor customer health and engagement metrics.
- Identify churn risks and proactively address customer concerns.
- Build strong client relationships through regular follow-up and strategic guidance.
- Help customers understand and maximize the value of the platform.
- Escalate technical issues when needed and follow through until resolution.
Requirements
~1 min read- 5+ years of experience running referral or affiliate programs across multiple businesses, agency environments, consulting engagements, or client portfolios.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, growth strategies, referral marketing, and affiliate marketing.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Zapier, CRMs, analytics platforms, marketing automation tools, and e-commerce platforms.
- Experience managing multiple client accounts while delivering measurable results.
- Strong customer success, account management, or client-facing experience.
- Ability to advise clients on campaign strategy, incentive structures, optimization, and performance improvement.
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities at once.
- Proactive, client-first approach with strong follow-through.
- Experience working toward retention, customer health, churn reduction, or performance-based goals.
- Basic JavaScript or API knowledge.
- Experience working with both online and offline business models.
- Experience with referral marketing platforms, affiliate tools, or similar SaaS products.
- Experience supporting integrations with HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, Google Tag Manager, WordPress, Zapier, Mailchimp, or e-commerce platforms.
- Experience in SaaS, marketing technology, growth marketing, or performance marketing.
The ideal candidate is a hybrid customer success and technical marketing profile. They should be able to build strong client relationships, solve technical problems, and provide strategic guidance on referral and affiliate campaigns.
They should have a “figure-it-out” mindset, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with multiple clients. This person should enjoy helping businesses grow through referrals, affiliates, campaign optimization, and better use of marketing technology.
