Our client’s mission is to force the world to take itself less seriously. They make people laugh first and sell second. Their mothers don’t always approve of what they do, but the millions of people they’ve entertained over the years do.

We’re looking for a technical and analytical Digital Product Manager to own and optimize our client’s digital storefront. This person will act as the product owner of the ecommerce site, driving the product roadmap, prioritizing the backlog, and working cross-functionally to increase conversion, AOV, and customer satisfaction.

Over the next year, this role will play a pivotal part in our client’s migration from a headless architecture to a Shopify Plus theme, ensuring a seamless transition that balances performance, flexibility, and brand experience. They’ll work closely with developers, marketing, and merchandising to ensure features ship on time, bugs are resolved quickly, and the site experience continues to improve through A/B testing.

Responsibilities

~1 min read
  • Propose, design, and manage A/B and multivariate tests across site experiences.

  • Use tools like StatSig, GA4, and heatmaps to analyze performance and customer behavior across traffic sources and devices.

  • Translate insights into actionable site updates and scalable best practices.

  • Own the website roadmap — scoping, prioritizing, and managing rollouts for new features, integrations, and technical improvements.

  • Partner with development to manage Agile sprints, sprint reviews, and retros to deliver features efficiently.

  • Support execution for the migration from a headless setup to a Shopify Plus theme, partnering closely with development partners to ensure a smooth transition and no disruption to the customer experience.

  • Maintain clear documentation and communication across teams.

  • Lead digital readiness for all product and campaign launches, ensuring product pages, collections, navigation, landing pages, and creative assets are live, functional, and aligned across channels.

  • Coordinate with Creative, Marketing, and Merchandising to maintain launch timelines and manage go-live checklists.

  • Identify opportunities to improve the product development lifecycle and QA processes.

  • Own site performance metrics including conversion rate, bounce rate, AOV, and page speed.

  • Build and maintain dashboards to track trends and identify improvement opportunities.

  • Present findings to leadership and recommend data-backed actions.

  • Manage the ecommerce tech stack: Shopify Plus, Searchspring, StatSig, Klaviyo, GA4, and related tools.

  • Evaluate new integrations and technologies that improve performance, UX, or workflow efficiency.

  • Streamline operational processes between teams to reduce friction and increase speed to market.

You bring:

  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset.

  • Clear communication and project management skills.

  • Collaborative energy — able to translate between creative, technical, and business teams.

  • Curiosity and initiative — you don’t wait for permission to improve something.

  • Comfort with fast-moving, evolving DTC environments.

  • 4+ years in ecommerce product management or digital product ownership (Shopify experience essential).

  • Experience managing a product backlog and working in Agile environments.

  • Prior experience working for a DTC apparel or consumer brand, ideally with direct accountability for site performance and customer experience.

  • Proven track record of driving measurable improvements in conversion rate and AOV.

  • Hands-on experience with CRO programs, analytics tools, and A/B testing frameworks.

  • Deep understanding of Shopify Plus (themes, limitations, and best practices).

  • Strong grasp of analytics: GA4, funnel analysis, and customer journey metrics.

  • Excellent communicator able to work with development, creative, marketing, and merchandising teams.

  • High accountability and attention to detail — you own outcomes, not just tasks.
