Responsibilities

Follow up on global machine quotes with prospects and distributors to address outstanding questions, confirm specs, and reinforce value proposition

Schedule and coordinate technical discovery and follow-up calls with Sales Engineers and Salespersons

Participate in all sales calls and log all sales activities, follow-up expectations, and deal progression into CRM (monday.com), tagging relevant stakeholders and ensuring deal health visibility

Proactively manage the machine quote-to-close lifecycle and escalate blockers to Sales Engineers or executives

Own prospect communications from quote to post-sale handoff to project managers, positioning yourself as a trusted point of contact and technical liaison

Deliver tailored follow-up messaging, including proposal summaries, sales engineering demo coordination, and purchase documentation where appropriate
-
Track and optimize buyer engagement using email tracking tools and automation triggers (e.g., mail merges, click tracking)

Coordinate post-sale handoff to Project Management and Plant Operations Teams for machine build timelines and delivery planning

Interface with Parts Department to activate Preventative Maintenance Programs (PMP) upon sale and ensure customer onboarding flows are completed

Ensure key sales milestones trigger necessary internal actions via monday.com or integrated workflows (e.g., “Build Spec Confirmed” triggers Ops/PM task assignment)

Maintain high data hygiene in CRM: update deal stages, add contact notes, tag buying roles, and set task reminders

Contribute to weekly deal review calls with accurate stage updates, risk factors, and close probability assessments

Monitor quote acceptance, average sales cycle duration, and key velocity metrics for your assigned regions
Requirements

3+ years of experience in capital equipment, machinery sales, manufacturing, or technical sales environments

Strong communication and interpersonal skills; proven ability to influence buyer decision cycles and maintain momentum

Proficiency in CRM platforms, G-Suite, and automation tools like Zapier or Make/Integromat

Comfortable working across time zones, teams, and cultural boundaries

Experience working with technical sales engineers and project managers on capital buildouts
