  • Minimum 20 new tests/week across: keywords, bids, creatives, angles, funnels, audiences

    • Target TACoS, ACOS, and blended ROAS defined and tracked

    • Path to 3.5×+ blended ROAS across Amazon and supporting channels on meaningful spend

    • $200k+/month in controlled, profitable ad spend (or ready to scale to that level sustainably)

    • Zero reliance on the CEO for copy, angles, hooks, or approvals

    • You bring the ideas, tests, and decisions — Founder stays in vision and product, not ads.


    You are Head of Amazon Ads, but you understand the whole growth ecosystem.

    • Amazon PPC: Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display

    • Amazon DSP strategy and optimization

    • Keyword research, search term mining, and negative keyword strategy

    • Campaign architecture (structure for scale, not chaos)

    • Bid strategies (down-only, up/down, fixed bids, placement adjustments)

    • TACoS/ACOS optimization and margin protection

    • Launch strategy for new products, variants, and bundles

    • Listing optimization: titles, bullets, imagery, A+ content, brand store

    • Review strategy, social proof, and UGC alignment with Amazon page assets

    • Creative strategy for Amazon ads (thumbnails, video, lifestyle, comparison ads)

    • Angle and hook testing: performance-driven storytelling specifically for Amazon shoppers

    • Using Meta / Google / YouTube / TikTok selectively where they support Amazon growth

    • Retargeting / remarketing flows that drive back to Amazon or DTC as needed

    • LTV/CAC modeling across channels with Amazon as the core revenue driver

    • LTV/CAC and payback windows on Amazon-first journeys

    • Blended ROAS across Amazon and supporting channels

    • Reporting that the CEO can scan in 5 minutes and know exactly what’s working

    You don’t just “run ads.” You design the acquisition system that scales profitably.


    We will check. This is not a “figure it out as you go” seat.

    • Not agency “I advised” fluff. Actual ownership of P&L outcomes.

    • You can point to real brands, real spend, real results.

    • Before/after numbers and what you changed.

    • No “I just manage the team now” distance.

    • You’re in the platforms, making decisions, and testing ideas.

    • Pattern recognition from heavy reps, not vibes.


    This is a scoreboard role. You will live and die by the numbers:

    If you need “more time” and “more budget” before you can show results, this will be a painful role. If you love moving fast and pressure-testing your ideas, you’ll thrive.
