We are seeking a proactive, resourceful, and relationship-oriented Business Development Representative to support our continued growth.

This role sits at the intersection of housing operations, landlord partnerships, and business development. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing housing options, building relationships with landlords and property managers, negotiating lease terms, and ensuring families have access to suitable temporary housing solutions.

While business development and sales experience are valuable, the highest priority is experience working within housing, real estate, relocation, property management, or temporary accommodation environments.

Responsibilities

  • Source and identify temporary housing options that meet client requirements

  • Conduct housing searches across multiple platforms, networks, referrals, and direct outreach channels

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, property owners, property managers, and housing providers

  • Negotiate rental rates, lease terms, and housing agreements

  • Evaluate housing options based on suitability, location, pricing, availability, and client needs

  • Proactively contact landlords and housing partners via phone, email, text, and other communication channels

  • Convert outreach efforts into active housing partnerships and inventory opportunities

  • Gather and verify critical housing details including availability, pricing, policies, and lease requirements

  • Maintain accurate records and activity tracking within CRM systems

  • Follow up consistently with partners and stakeholders to secure housing solutions quickly

  • Take ownership of housing sourcing targets and partnership development goals

  • Experience in housing, relocation services, property management, temporary accommodation, real estate, leasing, or a related field

  • Demonstrated experience conducting housing searches and securing accommodation solutions

  • Experience negotiating with landlords, property owners, or housing providers

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • Comfortable managing multiple housing requests and priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail

  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and solutions-oriented

Nice to Have

  • Experience with high-volume outreach and prospecting

  • Background working with temporary housing providers or relocation companies

  • Experience using CRM systems and maintaining detailed records

  • Experience working remotely within a distributed team environment

Based on the success of previous team members, candidates from Latin America are strongly preferred. We are seeking individuals who combine housing or real estate experience with a strong sense of urgency, accountability, and customer service.

Candidates with backgrounds in housing coordination, relocation services, real estate operations, leasing, landlord relations, or property management will be particularly well suited to this opportunity.
