Our client is an established organisation in Ireland operating within the civil engineering and infrastructure sector.

The company works across construction and infrastructure projects and is currently expanding its commercial and project delivery team.

We are looking for a Junior Quantity Surveyor currently based in Latin America to join the company’s team in Ireland.

The successful Junior Quantity Surveyor will support the delivery of projects across all aspects of the business from a construction and commercial point of view.

This is a strong opportunity for an early-career Quantity Surveyor looking to gain international experience while developing their knowledge of project costs, subcontractor management, valuations, reporting, and commercial controls.

This opportunity is exclusively for candidates currently based in Latin America.

The successful candidate must be willing to relocate from Latin America to Ireland.

Relocation is mandatory and non-negotiable for this role.

The company will support and manage the relocation process for the successful candidate.

This is not a remote position. Once hired, the candidate will be expected to work on-site in Ireland.

• →Assisting the Quantity Surveying team to manage subcontract packages and overseeing payments to subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants along with day-to-day QS duties.
• →Experience in IW, ESB, or Drainage projects, or UK/Australian/USA similar industry ideal, but not essential.
• →Assisting the Quantity Surveying team to assist with the preparation of monthly internal valuations and monthly cost reports.
• →Reporting on budgets and variations.
• →Maintaining subcontractor and supplier contractual details.
• →Tasks will be allocated to reflect increasing levels of development and experience.

• Full clean driver’s license essential.
• A relevant qualification is desirable.
• 1+ years post-Graduate experience within the construction or utilities sector.
• Civils, drainage, or utilities (water & electricity) experience.
• Confident, motivated and can work independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines.
• Time management abilities to meet targets.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Integrity and respect for confidentiality and privacy.

Only candidates currently based in Latin America who are willing and able to relocate to Ireland will be considered.

The position is fully on-site in Ireland. Relocation is mandatory and will be supported by the company.
