We are a well-established consumer products company with a strong national brand presence and decades of customer loyalty built through innovation, quality, and memorable customer experiences.

As we continue investing in our direct-to-consumer growth strategy, we are looking for a highly strategic and data-driven Senior Brand Marketing Manager to lead campaign planning, lifecycle marketing, organic content strategy, influencer partnerships, agency management, and DTC revenue growth.

This is a highly autonomous role for someone who thrives in ownership-driven environments and enjoys making decisions that directly impact revenue performance.

You will not simply execute marketing initiatives—you will help determine what the company says, when it says it, where it says it, and how those efforts translate into measurable business growth.

Here is the revised, structured job description template based exactly on the comprehensive format provided, with all specific client details entirely removed and generalized.

We are a well-established consumer products company with a strong national brand presence and decades of customer loyalty built through innovation, quality, and memorable customer experiences.

As we continue investing in our direct-to-consumer growth strategy, we are looking for a highly strategic and data-driven DTC Marketing Specialist to lead campaign planning, lifecycle marketing, organic content strategy, influencer partnerships, agency management, and DTC revenue growth.

This is a highly autonomous role for someone who thrives in ownership-driven environments and enjoys making decisions that directly impact revenue performance. You will not simply execute marketing initiatives—you will help determine what the company says, when it says it, where it says it, and how those efforts translate into measurable business growth.

This is not a social media management role. This is not a content coordination role.

This is a DTC growth leadership position responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing strategies that drive customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and revenue. You will serve as the strategic owner of multiple customer-facing marketing channels and become the primary driver behind campaign execution and performance optimization.

Success in this role requires a unique combination of:

  • Brand strategy

  • Campaign development

  • Lifecycle marketing

  • Data analysis

  • Agency leadership

  • Consumer psychology

  • Ecommerce growth

You will be expected to operate with a high degree of independence and bring recommendations backed by data rather than waiting for direction.

Note on Hands-On Execution: While you will own strategy and planning, you will also be expected to execute key marketing initiatives directly. You will build email campaigns, create marketing assets, manage agency relationships, develop campaign calendars, and drive marketing performance across multiple channels. This is not a people-management role; success requires both strategic thinking and executional excellence.

Own the annual, seasonal, and promotional marketing roadmap. Responsibilities include:

  • Developing integrated campaign strategies

  • Building promotional calendars

  • Planning product launches

  • Mapping products and offers to seasonal demand cycles

  • Defining campaign messaging and positioning

  • Creating offers, promotions, and CTAs

  • Coordinating execution across all marketing channels

You will serve as the architect of the company's campaign ecosystem.

Own the email channel as a major revenue-generating asset. Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and building email campaigns within Klaviyo

  • Writing email copy and developing campaign messaging

  • Creating and optimizing email templates

  • Managing audience segmentation and lifecycle flows

  • Driving list growth initiatives

  • Analyzing email performance and implementing optimizations

You should have personally managed a Klaviyo account and be comfortable discussing segmentation strategy, flow architecture, revenue attribution, deliverability, engagement metrics, and customer lifetime value.

Lead the strategic direction of organic content initiatives. Responsibilities include:

  • Creating and publishing social media content

  • Designing social graphics and campaign assets using Canva or similar tools

  • Developing content themes aligned with campaign objectives

  • Coordinating video content direction and creative execution

Primary channels include: Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and emerging social platforms. You should understand the distinct roles of social channels in the customer journey and be able to create content that supports both engagement and revenue objectives.

Act as the strategic owner of external paid media relationships. Responsibilities include:

  • Developing creative briefs

  • Approving campaign direction

  • Evaluating performance metrics

  • Managing agency accountability

  • Reviewing spend efficiency

  • Optimizing customer acquisition efforts

  • Ensuring alignment between paid media and broader campaign objectives

The agency executes campaigns. You determine the strategy. You should be comfortable critically analyzing ROAS, CAC, CPA, conversion rates, revenue attribution, and audience performance to challenge agency data.

Partner with and provide direction to ecommerce developers and technical resources to improve customer acquisition, conversion rates, and customer experience. Responsibilities include:

  • Directing landing page and campaign page development

  • Defining content hierarchy and messaging strategy

  • Writing or refining conversion-focused copy and CTAs

  • Reviewing site experiences prior to launch (landing pages, product launch pages, promotional pages, and seasonal site experiences)

Build and scale creator-driven growth initiatives from zero. Responsibilities include:

  • Program development and influencer recruitment

  • Affiliate management and partnership negotiations

  • Product seeding campaigns mapped against the marketing calendar

  • Performance measurement and granular ROI analysis

You will be responsible for establishing scalable creator relationships that support both brand awareness and revenue generation.

Serve as a guardian of the brand across all customer-facing channels. Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining consistency across campaigns

  • Reviewing and approving marketing materials and creative assets

  • Protecting brand voice and positioning

  • Ensuring alignment between performance marketing and long-term brand equity

Use data to drive strategic decision-making. You will regularly analyze email performance, ecommerce metrics, social engagement, paid media performance, website conversion data, customer acquisition trends, retention metrics, and campaign ROI. Success will be measured by your ability to translate insights into actionable improvements.

Requirements

~1 min read
  • 4–6+ years of experience in DTC Marketing, Brand Marketing, Growth Marketing, Ecommerce Marketing, or Lifecycle Marketing.

  • Experience owning marketing channels and revenue outcomes from the inside of a consumer brand (agency-only experience does not qualify).

  • Hands-on experience with Klaviyo or similar lifecycle marketing platforms.

  • Strong understanding of ecommerce and consumer marketing.

  • Experience managing agencies and external partners.

  • Proven ability to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns from scratch.

  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently, build systems, and prioritize effectively.

Nice to Have

~1 min read
  • Experience with Shopify-based brands.

  • Experience building influencer or affiliate programs from scratch (rather than just managing an existing one).

  • Experience in heritage, outdoor, lifestyle, recreation, or consumer products industries where voice and legacy matter.

  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and ecommerce reporting platforms.

  • Basic design proficiency in Canva or Adobe Creative Suite (fluent enough that simple assets never require an agency round-trip).

  • Experience scaling DTC revenue channels.

The ideal candidate:

  • Thinks like an owner: Highly self-directed, manages their own deadlines, and operates without a playbook.

  • Makes decisions using data: Sees reporting as a weekly tool to steer strategy, not a month-end chore.

  • Balances brand and performance: Understands customer psychology and how to protect a trusted brand legacy while aggressively driving revenue.

  • Is a builder, not a briefer: Produces assets directly and can direct technical resources effectively (e.g., "the developer builds, you direct").

  • Within 30 Days: Klaviyo account audited and first flow improvements live. Email calendar running on a consistent cadence. First agency briefs sent under your direction.

  • Within 60 Days: Comprehensive seasonal marketing calendar built and live—mapping themes, products, timing, and CTAs across email, social, paid, and influencer. First directed landing pages published.

  • Within 90 Days: Influencer program live with active partnerships seeded against the campaign calendar. Executive leadership is out of the day-to-day on all channels, and weekly KPI reporting is completely yours.
