About the Company:
Our client is a premier assisted living operator managing approximately 20 locations across Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. We are dedicated to providing high-quality care for seniors and are currently expanding our Monterrey-based accounting hub. This is a high-visibility role where you will serve as a core support pillar for our Accounting Manager, CFO, and executive team, ensuring the financial health of our facilities across the United States.
About the Role:
As a Staff Accountant, you will manage the day-to-day financial operations for multiple senior living communities. This isn't just about data entry; you will be the primary point of contact for US-based facility teams, requiring a blend of technical accounting precision and exceptional communication skills.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Full-Cycle Accounting: Perform day-to-day bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance, and QuickBooks-level accounting tasks.
- →Operational Support: Manage Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and bank reconciliations for assigned facilities.
- →Communication: Act as a liaison between the Monterrey office and US-based facility staff via phone and email to resolve billing or financial inquiries.
- →Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and support the Accounting Manager and CFO during month-end close.
- →Growth: Contribute to a rapidly growing local team (3–5 new hires planned) to streamline cross-border financial operations.
- →Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- →Graduates of Monterrey Institute of Technology (ITESM) are strongly preferred.
- →Language: Near-perfect/Fluent English. This is critical as you will be communicating daily with native English speakers in the US over the phone.
- →Technical Skills: Strong grasp of basic accounting principles (GAAP) and comfort with accounting software (QuickBooks experience is a plus).
- →Soft Skills: High attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
