Role Description:The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for developing and executing the company’s technological vision and strategy. This role drives innovation, oversees all aspects of the company’s technology development, and ensures that technological resources are aligned with the company’s business goals. The CTO will lead the engineering and IT teams, manage technological budgets, and foster a culture of continuous improvement, security, and scalability.Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the company’s technology strategy to support long-term goals.
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable and secure technology platforms.
  • Oversee all system design and changes in system architecture.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage.
  • Establish and enforce software development and operational standards.
  • Collaborate with other executives to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
  • Manage technical teams, including software engineers, IT, DevOps, and product development staff.
  • Drive innovation through research, experimentation, and strategic tech partnerships.
  • Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance and ROI.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection, cybersecurity, and privacy regulations.
  • Represent the company in technical discussions with stakeholders, partners, and investors.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience (typically 8+ years) in a senior technology leadership role, such as CTO, VP of Engineering, or Technical Director.
  • Strong background in software development, systems architecture, and emerging technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience building and scaling engineering teams and digital platforms.
  • Deep understanding of data security, cloud infrastructure, and agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to solving complex problems.
  • Experience working in startup, high-growth, or innovation-driven environments is a plus.

Compensation
$ 5,500 - $ 10,000 per month, paid in USD depending on experience.
