We are seeking a Video Content Creator / Social Media Manager to support a boarding school’s marketing team by transforming raw photos and videos into polished, on-brand daily social content. This role focuses on improving social media presence through consistent, modern, and engaging short-form video and visual content, while maintaining a premium and cohesive brand aesthetic.
The role operates as a long-term creative partnership, working collaboratively with the internal team and selected student contributors, while providing professional-level execution and creative consistency.
Responsibilities

Create high-quality social media assets from raw footage and photos, including posts, stories, reels, and short-form video clips

Maintain an average cadence of approximately one post per day, with flexible story and reel posting based on school activities

Ensure a consistent, modern, premium visual style across the social feed

Align all content with the school’s brand, culture, and positioning

Recommend weekly content ideas and trend-based formats that align with the school brand

Avoid forced or inappropriate trends while keeping content current and engaging

Help organize a simple content plan to maintain momentum during busy periods

Coordinate with student contributors to capture authentic moments while maintaining professional output quality

Draft captions and basic posting copy

Organize content using structured folders and workflows

Schedule and publish content at appropriate times for Germany/Europe time zones

Avoid overnight posting outside reasonable local hours

Optionally assist with building a basic content library and repeatable templates to streamline posting

Proven experience creating and managing modern social media content, including reels and short-form video
-
Strong creative judgment and ability to produce content that feels premium rather than traditional “school marketing”

Comfortable working with tools such as Canva, CapCut, and/or Adobe
-
Able to work efficiently from raw content (photos and video)

Strong English communication skills for collaboration and workflow clarity

Reliable, organized, and responsive

Availability to overlap at least ~4 hours during EU daytime hours
