We are a marketing and website agency helping mental health therapists grow their practices through better messaging, strategy, branding, and website design.
We're looking for an exceptional Website Copywriter & Content Strategist who knows how to turn a business's goals, audience, and unique strengths into clear, compelling website messaging.
This role is for someone who combines excellent writing, strategic thinking, and strong editorial judgment with a genuine enthusiasm for AI.
We are an AI-forward company. We actively use tools like Claude and ChatGPT to improve how we work. We don't expect you to write every word from scratch. We expect you to know how to use AI to produce strong first drafts, then bring the strategy, creativity, and critical thinking required to make the final work exceptional.
You'll analyze client questionnaires, meeting transcripts, and other resources to uncover what makes each business different, what their ideal clients need to hear, and how their website should communicate that message.
We're looking for someone who naturally asks:
- What's the real message we're trying to communicate?
- Does this content serve the client's goals?
- Is there a better, clearer, or more strategic way to approach this?
- How can AI help us produce better work more efficiently?
If you love understanding the bigger picture, solving problems, and turning complicated information into messaging that connects with real people, this could be a great fit.
The Website Copywriter & Content Strategist is responsible for developing the messaging strategy, content architecture, and website copy for our clients.
You'll take information provided by clients and turn it into strategically structured websites that clearly communicate who they help, how they help, and why someone should choose their practice.
You'll collaborate with our internal team to plan website content, determine page structure, and create copy that balances strong messaging, SEO, and conversion goals.
AI will be central to your workflow, supporting research, planning, drafting, and editing. Your ability to direct these tools and recognize what makes content effective is essential.
This is a fast-paced agency environment with multiple projects moving through different stages. You'll need to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and consistently deliver excellent work.
We provide guidance and support, but we also value independence, initiative, and people who take ownership of their responsibilities.

As part of our hiring process, shortlisted candidates will complete a paid assignment designed to reflect the type of work you'd be doing at MYM.
We'll provide a fictional therapist's completed questionnaire and discovery-call notes. You'll use these materials to develop a clear website messaging direction and a sample of website copy.
Your assignment will include:
- Messaging Strategy: Identify the therapist's ideal audience, key differentiators, and recommended messaging direction. Briefly explain your reasoning.
- Website Structure & SEO: Recommend a sitemap of approximately 5–7 pages, including a primary keyword or search intent for each page. Explain any pages you would combine or exclude.
- Homepage Copy: Develop a homepage hero section and two additional homepage sections, including headings, body copy, and appropriate calls to action. Structure the content so it could be handed directly to a designer.
- Strategic Judgment: Identify up to three gaps, concerns, or opportunities in the information provided. Explain what you would recommend or clarify before proceeding.
- AI Workflow: Briefly describe the AI tools you used, how you approached prompting, and what you changed or improved through your own editorial judgment.
You are encouraged to use AI throughout the assignment, just as you would in this role. We're interested in the quality of your thinking, the effectiveness of your final copy, and how you use technology to work efficiently.
We'll provide a clear scope and time expectation. We're not looking for a fully written website, but rather an opportunity to understand how you approach strategy, writing, SEO, and problem-solving.
